Ecuador court orders Chevron to pay - This is a game changer. Now corporations across the globe know that they can and will be held accountable for their activities and its effect on the environment. The impact of this cannot be under-estimated. Corporations will now mitigate risks and impacts on the ecosystems in which they operate. They will now think twice before they make choices to save money that are more detrimental to the environment, as it may cost them in the long run.

All quarters to be bigger than last year. And this unrelentless march towards bigger and bigger profits MUST be achieved at all costs... measures like: lay people off, lower their benefits, move manufacturing and customer service overseas, source cheaper materials, dispose of waste cheaply etc. this CICT (pronounced CYST) the 'Catastrophe of the Insatiable Corporate Treadmill'.
